30-Day Return Policy

At Martin Binder Jeweler your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the item* in its original condition - with its original packaging and collateral material - within 30 days from the date of shipment for a refund or exchange.

RETURN PROCESS

Once a returned item has been received at our store, the item will be reviewed to ensure that it does not show any signs of wear, alteration, resizing (by a jeweler other than Martin Binder Jeweler), or damage. Items not meeting our quality inspection will not be accepted for return. Returns with no Return Authorization Number, packages that do not include the original packaging and collateral material, improperly packaged, or insured items, or items sent beyond the 30-day return period will be refused receipt.*

Upon approval, all returns will be processed within 7 business days and refunded in the form of the original purchase method.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

To return an item via mail, follow the proceeding steps:

Returns in Store

Items ordered online may be returned or exchanged at our Valparaiso, Indiana location within 30 days from the date of shipment. Bring in the item in its original condition—with its original packaging and collateral material—for a refund or exchange.

Returns via Mail

  • Call for a "Return Authorization Number". Call us at 800.337.5184 to receive a Return Authorization Number. This number must be written on the outside of the package and also on the Return Merchandise Form.
  • Fill out the Return Merchandise Form. The Return Merchandise Form can be downloaded and printed by clicking here. (You must have Adobe Reader installed to view and print this document. If your browser does not prompt you to download Adobe Reader, you can download it at http://get.adobe.com/reader.) Once you print the Return Merchandise Form, fill in all necessary information, including your name, address, phone number, and reason for returning the item. Do not forget to fill in your Return Authorization Number in the specified box.
  • Package Your Return. Returned items must include all original packaging and collateral material. If your purchase included a diamond certificate and it is not included in your return, you will be charged a $250 replacement cost.
  • Label Your Package: For security reasons, do not write "Martin Binder Jeweler" anywhere on the outside of the box. Mail returns "attn Returns,” and do not forget to write your Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box:

  • Insure Your Package. Packages must be shipped based on their cost. If the item you're returning costs:

·Less than $500: Items in this price range can be shipped using any carrier. Fully insure the item, and be sure to request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.*

·More than $500: Items in this price range must be shipped via US Postal Service Registered Mail™. (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise costing more than $500.) Fully insure the item, and be sure to request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.*

·More than $25,000: Please contact a Martin Binder customer service representative at 800.337.5184 to arrange shipment of your purchase. If these instructions are not followed exactly, your return will not be processed. Please contact one of our customer service representatives at 800.337.5184 with questions or concerns.

EXCLUSIONS

Engraved Items

Items with custom engraving are not returnable. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase of an engraved item, please contact one of our customer service representatives at 800.337.5184.

Special and Custom Ordered Items

Returns or exchanges of special and custom ordered items are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Special and custom ordered items are those that have been ordered in a particular size or style for an individual customer. These orders must be completed by phone, and customers will be informed of the return policy at the time of purchase.

Some rings—including eternity bands, tension rings, and those made of certain alternative metals—usually cannot be re-sized. (For this reason, it is important to order the correct size at the time of purchase.) Returns or exchanges of this nature are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
